What is Odin Reincarnation?

Northern Lands went live at the end of August 2026 as the map after Enchanted Forest — the block counted as the 14th dungeon slot. Base facts, cross-checked across a competitor reference and creator runs: a three-boss run (Midgardian Champion, Bob the Frost Giant, Odin) under a reported ~11-minute timer, with Insane around level 180 and Nightmare around 185. Treat the gates as community-reported — the live selector decides.

The September 8, 2026 update extended that run: once Odin falls, the party can choose to stay and fight the bonus boss. Odin Reincarnation is not a longer Odin — prep coverage describes a different attack set, and first-clear footage shows it. Three things define the encounter:

  • Three hearts. Staying grants three hearts (lives) for the attempt. Deaths consume them; when they run out, the attempt ends.
  • A separate five-minute clock. Prep coverage describes the fight running on its own short window, with the headline reward tied to clearing inside it.
  • A step up in demand. Creator consensus: the hardest single encounter in the game — no boss yet asks for this much movement per second.

How do I unlock Odin Reincarnation?

  1. Do01

    Reach Northern Lands

Community tables put Insane around level 180 and Nightmare around 185 — the block after Enchanted Forest. New to the loop? Work the [beginner guide](/guide/) first.

  2. Do02

    Clear the three-boss run

Beat Midgardian Champion, Bob the Frost Giant, and Odin inside the run timer — roughly 11 minutes per community reports.

  3. Do03

    Take the stay prompt

After Odin falls, choose to stay and fight the bonus boss. Footage shows the party receiving its three hearts at this point.

  4. Do04

    Win inside hearts and clock

The attempt ends when the three hearts run out or the timer does — the double-ultimate reward depends on beating the clock, not just surviving.

A party is the realistic route in current footage — first clears run with a group, a healer, and voice callouts, filled through the lobby request system. See the dungeons hub for map order, or the solo guide if you intend to attempt Northern Lands alone.

What makes the fight hard?

Damage per hit is survivable — deaths come from mechanics. The pattern set boils down to three families:

Colored safe zones with pump fakes. The boss telegraphs attacks against colored zones — red, yellow, green, with white states visible in capture — and you must stand in the zone it calls. The twist is the pump fake: the color can flip abruptly during the telegraph, then flip again. Creator commentary gives the correct read: when the color changes, move to the new zone immediately, then be ready to return to the original if it fakes back. Clearing parties called the current color out loud and re-confirmed after every flip — essential when a teammate is colorblind (one first-clear party hit exactly that on camera).

Circle zones that one-shot. A separate telegraph drops circle zones you must reach in time; miss the window and it is lethal — footage narrates it as "if you don't get to it in time, you're one hit." Zone timing outranks damage windows.

Phase escalation. Later phases speed the projectiles up and layer fireball volleys onto the zone and nuke patterns — footage shows the volley landing at the same moment as the color call. Deaths cluster here even for players who cruised the early fight.

How do I survive — phase by phase

  1. Phase01

    Party and prepare

Bring a healer — first-clear commentary calls one the difference between wipes and kills — and agree on color callouts before the stay prompt.

  2. Phase02

    Early — read, don't greed

The opener is learnable: creators died early to 'the worst attacks ever' by overextending, not from unmanageable damage. Position for the zone call, attack between calls, and bank the three hearts.

  3. Phase03

Mid — respect the pump fake

Treat every color flip as a possible fake: move to the new zone, hold for the double-back, confirm the final color before committing. If callouts collapse, follow the pack — the footage-approved fallback.

  4. Phase04

Late — move first, volley second

When fireballs and zone calls arrive together, satisfy the zone timing first, then dodge the volley. Keep a movement spell ready; high HP helps but is not armor — an 800M-HP player in first-clear footage still died to these overlaps.

  5. Phase05

Clear push — the clock is the reward

The double-ultimate prize rides on beating the ~5-minute window, so keep damage rolling between dodges — but with hearts low, play safe: a death that ends the attempt costs the run and the reward.

What does Odin Reincarnation drop?

The incentive is the map's weapon ceiling — ultimate-rarity drops, described in creator coverage as currently the best weapons in the game. Two claims come from the same prep source, and both stay to be confirmed until post-launch footage shows them:

RewardReported conditionStatus
Ultimate-rarity weaponsDrop chance from the Reincarnation clearVideo report — no rate known, none dropped in first-clear footage
2 ultimate dropsClear Odin Reincarnation within ~5 minutesCreator pre-launch claim — Unconfirmed
XPAbout 264,000,000 on a level-194 killSingle video reading — expect variation by level

First-clear runs captured no ultimate at all, so treat every rate as unknown: no drop table, no odds, no pity math exists in public footage yet. Record what actually lands on your own reward screen with the loot drops checklist instead of trusting a number.

What is Odin Reincarnation?

An optional fourth boss in Northern Lands, fought after the three regular bosses (Midgardian Champion, Bob the Frost Giant, Odin). It arrived with the September 8, 2026 update that renamed the experience [Odin Reincarnation] Dungeon Quest Reborn; the bonus fight gives the party three hearts on its own ~5-minute clock.

Is it the hardest boss in the game?

Creator consensus says yes — largely because of layered mechanics: color safe zones with pump fakes, one-shot circle zones, and late-phase fireball volleys. Community feedback suggests a healer and coordinated callouts rather than pure gear.

How do I unlock the Odin Reincarnation fight?

Clear Northern Lands on your difficulty — community tables report Insane around level 180 and Nightmare around 185 — then beat all three bosses including Odin and choose to stay for the bonus boss.

How much HP does Odin Reincarnation have?

Unconfirmed and party-size dependent: solo readings disagree across two videos (~51Q vs ~57.6Q) and team runs have been captured around 132Q, 357Q, and 479Q. Expect roughly 50Q+ solo, scaling up with the party — pin your number from the health bar on your own attempt.

Can Odin Reincarnation be soloed?

A solo guide covers the full Northern Lands route with a high-HP glass-cannon build at Insane (~400M HP advice, community-reported), and solo attempts appear in footage — but no confirmed solo clear of the bonus boss was in the source material. A party with a healer is the recommended route until one is.

Does it guarantee an ultimate drop?

No confirmed guarantee. Coverage reports a chance of ultimate-rarity weapons on clear, plus a pre-launch claim that beating the ~5-minute window grants two ultimate drops — neither has a confirmed rate or drop table, and first-clear footage recorded no ultimate at all.

What are the three hearts for?

Lives for the bonus attempt, per first-clear footage: deaths consume them and the attempt ends when they run out. How they distribute across party members was not documented in the clips — confirm on your own stay prompt.
