Every weapon and armor piece in Dungeon Quest Reborn carries a pot reading, and the best possible one is a God pot. This page covers what those terms mean on an item card, where gear actually comes from, which gamepasses change your drops, and where gems fit — using only what current footage documents, with every single-source figure labeled Unconfirmed.
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Pot | Short for potential — the roll-quality reading on a weapon or armor card |
| God pot | The highest possible roll on that item — reported, no published scale |
| Where pot is read | On the item card itself; footage shows it labeled "pot" |
| Drop-boosting gamepasses | 2× Gold → +1 Item → VIP, in that order — creator footage |
| Gems | Buy cosmetic crates in the main lobby; separate from gold |
| Trading limits | Gold moves only inside the same dungeon; you cannot receive items from a dungeon above your own |
| Status | Footage-based — no official item sheet exists; figures are Unconfirmed |
What does pot mean on an item?
Pot is short for potential. Every weapon and armor in the game has its own pot value — the shorthand for whether that copy rolled a high or a low stat. Two copies of the same weapon are not the same item if their pots differ, and the reading is what tells you which one is worth upgrading and which is worth selling.
In current footage the reading sits right on the item: your weapon "will basically say pot". How to use it:
- Read the pot line first when comparing a drop against what you are wearing, and compare like with like — pot describes how good a copy rolled for its own stats, not how a Warrior weapon compares to a Mage weapon.
- Check the weapon type at the upgrade screen if you are unsure what you are holding; footage points players there.
- Do not let color outrank the card. Rarity wording is context; stat fields and pot are what you can measure — the weapons page covers reading those fields.
No official scale for pot exists in our material. The reading is documented, its thresholds are not — treat any "pot above X is good" rule as Unconfirmed.
What is a God pot?
A God pot is the highest possible roll on an item — that is the whole definition current footage gives, and it explains why the term leads trading conversations: an item at its maximum roll is desired because it is stronger, and no further copy can beat it on that axis. Three honest limits:
- How much stronger is unpublished. No source gives a percentage, a stat curve or a low-pot-versus-God-pot table. Any quoted number is a guestimate.
- God pot is not the same as upgraded. Pot describes how the item rolled; upgrading is separate gold spent at the lobby NPC — the upgrading page covers that system.
- Pot does not change the item's type. A God pot weapon is still the same archetype with the same ability set, just at the top of its own roll range.
So a God pot is a stronger copy of that specific item, not a shortcut past the dungeon you are stuck on. If an offer is priced mainly on the words "God pot", verify the card yourself before paying.
Where do items come from?
Supply is narrower than most new players assume:
- Dungeon clears. Rewards come from finishing a run, with difficulty driving how strong the rolls can be; the drops page documents the logging routine that turns a lucky screen into a usable record.
- Trading, with hard limits. Footage is specific on two rules: gold can only be traded between players in the same dungeon, and you cannot receive an item from a dungeon above the one you have reached — a rule that caps what you can hold, not just what you can buy. The trading page covers safe practice.
- Gamepasses, indirectly. Passes are bought with gold and change how much you get per clear rather than handing you items.
No verified store sells statted gear for Robux, and no verified code grants an item. Treat any listing or DM claiming otherwise as a lead to check, never a source.
Which gamepasses change your drops?
Once you have gold, the store's passes change how much loot a run produces. Two creators give the same order, and the order is the advice:
- Order01
2× Gold first
Doubles the gold from every clear — and every later pass is paid for out of the gold this one generates, so nothing belongs ahead of it.
- Order02
+1 Item second
An extra item drop per clear: more rolls to equip or sell, which is why it sits directly behind the gold multiplier.
- Order03
VIP third
The reported VIP perks — 2× Gold, +20% XP, an extra item drop, a cosmetic and free stat resets — stack on the two passes above.
Two details keep this honest. Gamepasses are reported as gold-purchased, not Robux-purchased, so this is a farm target rather than a paywall — the gamepasses page covers the price-scaling rule and the VIP page lists each perk beside the step that verifies it in your store modal. And the numbers behind the perks are community-reported: "2×", "+1" and "+20%" describe what footage shows, not an official sheet, so count your own reward screens across a few runs before assuming a pass paid off.
Gems, gold, and what each one buys
| Currency | Mainly buys | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Gold | Gear upgrades at the lobby NPC, gamepasses, timed boosts | The currency that raises your power per clear |
| Gems | Cosmetic crates in the main lobby | Visual only — footage calls gems not very important for progression |
Gems do not buy statted gear, and cosmetics do not drop from dungeons — the cosmetics page documents the crate tiers and prices. On the item side, the gold sink is the upgrade NPC, and the value-list page explains why you price an upgraded keeper by its card rather than by an undated table.
Named item sources in current footage
One source is named in creator coverage, and it comes with an eligibility rule that trips players up. An Enhanced ability — written EIR / EIF in the footage, which never spells the acronym out — is reported from Volcanic Chambers, and onward into Northern Lands on Nightmare.
- It is reported to drop only when that run is your highest Nightmare dungeon.
- Two worked examples from the footage: a level 165 player cannot get EIR / EIF from Volcanic Chambers Nightmare, and a 175 cannot get it from Aquatic Temple Nightmare.
Single-video claim, Unconfirmed — including whether those level numbers are gates or just the creator's examples. What generalizes is the habit: confirm the map, the difficulty and your own highest cleared Nightmare before spending a session on a named drop. Map order lives on the dungeons hub and ability sources are tabulated on the spells page.
A first-session item routine
- Do01
Pick the starter weapon that matches your path
Fresh-account footage takes the starter wand over the bronze dagger because it carries far more spell power and lets you fight from range — pick by the stat field you intend to stack, not by looks.
- Do02
Spend early points on the stat you actually use
The same footage puts first points into spell power for a caster, then stamina for safety. Match the [classes page](/classes/) to the weapon in your hand.
- Do03
Equip drops by stat, not by color
Compare pot and stat fields against what you are wearing; a higher-rarity sidegrade is still a sidegrade.
- Do04
Bank gold for one upgrade, then re-clear
Buy one meaningful tier on the piece that fixes your bottleneck, then re-run the same dungeon before spending again — the [upgrading page](/upgrading/) has the full loop.
What does pot mean in Dungeon Quest Reborn?
Pot is short for potential. Every weapon and armor has its own pot reading, telling you whether that copy rolled a high or low stat — the card itself is labeled "pot" in current footage. It is the first thing to check when comparing two copies of the same item.
What is a God pot?
A God pot is the highest possible roll on an item, which is why players seek it out: no other copy beats it on that axis. No source in our material publishes how large the gap is or what the pot scale runs from, so treat every quoted number as unconfirmed.
How do you get items in Dungeon Quest Reborn?
From dungeon clears, with difficulty affecting how strong the rolls are, plus trading with players in the same dungeon. You cannot receive an item from a dungeon above the one you have reached, and no verified store or code hands out statted gear.
Which gamepasses give more item drops?
Current footage gives the order 2× Gold, then +1 Item, then VIP — the extra-item pass adds a drop slot per clear and sits second because the gold multiplier funds it. The perks are community-reported; verify them in your own store modal.
Where do EIR and EIF drop?
Creator footage reports them from Volcanic Chambers, or continuing into Northern Lands on Nightmare, and states the run must be your highest Nightmare dungeon — a level 165 cannot get them from Volcanic Chambers Nightmare, and a 175 cannot from Aquatic Temple Nightmare. Single-source and Unconfirmed.
