When should I move to Winter Outpost?

Move when Desert Temple stops teaching and stops paying. Current leveling footage shows players graduating once Temple clears feel free at their best difficulty and Gold income outgrows Temple gear. Concretely:

  1. You finish Temple's best tier for you without wiping, repeatedly.
  2. Temple drops no longer beat your equipped items on any slot.
  3. Outpost's first difficulty is visible in your dungeon selector.

If only the third is true, farm Temple for Gold and upgrade first — arriving under-geared costs more time than a few more Temple runs.

What kit should I bring?

Outpost is where single-path building starts to matter. Ranged casters punish standing still, so line of sight and movement matter more than raw damage.

Community footage of early Outpost runs shows ice-themed spell kits (fireball-style AoE spam stays strong even two maps later, per leveling videos) and players trading Gold mid-run — the map rewards a coherent plan over improvisation.

How do I clear it without wasting runs?

  1. Do01

    Scout the pack

Outpost mixes melee and ranged — enter far enough to see casters before committing to a long ability.

  2. Do02

    Break line of sight

Walk casters into your AoE or behind cover instead of tanking ranged chips across the room.

  3. Do03

    Learn the Ice Elemental first

One safe look at its attack pattern and add summons before bursting. Move first, damage second.

  4. Do04

    Handle the adds

Legacy guides describe the boss summoning Ice Minions — clear adds when they stack, or save AoE for them on purpose.

  5. Do05

Loot and upgrade in the lobby

Compare each drop against the equipped slot, then spend Gold on clear speed. Sell the rest.

If a difficulty keeps wiping you at the same room, that is a gear check, not a luck check: drop one tier, upgrade the bottleneck piece, and come back. The solo guide covers single-player clears in depth.

What drops in Winter Outpost?

No verified Reborn drop table exists yet — exact rates and the boss-versus-chest split stay to be confirmed. Legacy references for orientation: ice-themed weapons and armor on early lists, and community footage shows ice-robe spell kits on current Outpost farms. Verify every name on your own reward screen before farming for it — the loot drops checklist keeps records clean, and the armor page explains how to read survivability on the card.

Should I run Hardcore here?

Hardcore's reported bonuses (+10% XP, +10% luck, an extra drop slot) are attractive, but Outpost is the first map where a single mistake can end the run — new bosses kill Hardcore runs. Run Normal until Outpost finishes are boringly reliable, then opt in. If your party disagrees, match their clear speed rather than arguing for the toggle.

How do I unlock Winter Outpost?

Progression is level- and gear-gated, not paid. Current footage shows players arriving naturally after Desert Temple; the exact unlock level in Reborn is to be confirmed in the live selector.

Who is the Winter Outpost boss?

The Ice Elemental. Legacy guides describe a basic attack pattern plus summoned Ice Minions, and Reborn footage confirms the map's ice theme — exact Reborn phase behavior is unverified, so watch one cycle before committing.

Is Winter Outpost much harder than Desert Temple?

It is the first real wall: more HP per pack and ranged enemies that punish standing still. Path-matched upgrades from Temple Gold usually close the gap.

What comes after Winter Outpost?

Community coverage places Pirate Island next in the classic roster. Per-map Reborn details are to be confirmed — check the dungeons hub for the full list.
