Status — legacy event content. Egg Island is documented here from the Egg Hunt 2020 event in the original game and from creator footage of the current experience. Whether the map rotates in Dungeon Quest Reborn, or is open at all, is unconfirmed as of 2026-09-21. What was Egg Island?
Per a single community write-up, Egg Island was a special event dungeon released on April 6, 2020 for Roblox's Egg Hunt and archived on October 13, 2023 — so every legacy figure on this page stays Unconfirmed until a live run shows it again.
Its design was the point: gear and player levels were completely normalized. There was no level requirement, every entrant was scaled to level 1, and your normal inventory was stripped on entry in favour of temporary preset items tuned for this map. Players chose one of four archetypes — Warrior, Mage, Healer or Tank — so the run was decided by positioning and teamwork rather than by who had farmed longer. That is why the map is still searched for years after closing.
Two rules supplied the pressure. A hard clock: roughly 9 minutes for the whole dungeon on Easy, 5 on Nightmare. Deaths cost time: each death immediately deducted 10 seconds from the party's remaining time, so a careless wipe could end the run before the final boss.
Does Dungeon Quest Reborn still run Egg Island?
Two evidence layers, worth keeping apart. Current footage: creators walking the live dungeon list name Egg Island among the maps and explain its purpose — "purely for chance and cosmetics", called generally not worth doing because the rewards are cosmetic crates, with one leveling creator telling viewers to ignore it outright. Legacy documentation: the room layout, level normalization, preset kits and boss move sets below describe the Egg Hunt 2020 version. Whether the Reborn build restores that exact format is to be confirmed.
The honest planning answer: treat Egg Island as a cosmetics-and-chance side map, not a farm. If it is in your selector, expect mechanical fights and cosmetic payout; if it is missing, nothing here blocks your progression — routes live on the dungeons hub and progression page.
How the run was laid out
Egg Island was a linear route through seven rooms. Room 4 held the mini-boss, Room 7 the final boss; the other five were waves built from two creature types.
| Room | Wave | Enemies | Count |
|---|---|---|---|
| Room 1 | Wave 1 | Chicken Brawlers, Chicken Mages | 3 Brawlers, 2 Mages |
| Room 2 | Wave 1 | Chicken Brawlers, Chicken Mages | 3 Brawlers, 3 Mages |
| Room 2 | Wave 2 | Chicken Brawlers, Chicken Mages | 3 Brawlers, 2 Mages |
| Room 3 | Wave 1 | Chicken Mages | 6 Mages |
| Room 4 | Mini-boss | Bunny Grenadier | 1 mini-boss |
| Room 5 | Wave 1 | Chicken Brawlers, Chicken Mages | 4 Brawlers, 3 Mages |
| Room 6 | Wave 1 | Chicken Brawlers, Chicken Mages | 4 Brawlers, 5 Mages |
| Room 7 | Final boss | Egg Mech | 1 boss |
Counts are single-source and Unconfirmed. Chicken Brawler — an angry yellow chicken that targeted the closest player or the highest damage dealer, moving at player speed but slowing briefly after each attack, which made kiting the standard answer. Chicken Mage — an angry purple chicken firing a wide, rapid-fire damage beam from range; with that output at that distance, the documented priority was to kill the Mages first.
Boss mechanics
Both fights were pure mechanical tests: with levels normalized, nobody could out-stat them.
Bunny Grenadier (Room 4). A humanoid rabbit in a red shirt and black shorts carrying a carrot blade, described as an explosives specialist. Three bomb behaviours: a Frost Bomb passive appearing about every 7 seconds to freeze players in its area, Red Bombs thrown at a random player for heavy area-of-effect damage, and Poison Bombs raining across the arena and leaving poison pools that applied damage over time — the dodge cue was reading the shadows on the floor and moving early.
Egg Mech (Room 7). A mechanical egg piloted by a Chicken Brawler, built on lasers and projectiles: a Line Attack drawing a grid of warning lines then firing fast beams down them, Rock Fall explosions at random points that dealt continuous heavy damage on contact, and a Rapid Orb Blast of giant energy orbs sweeping the arena, forcing players to weave through the barrage instead of standing and trading.
| Boss | Difficulty | Base HP | Damage output | Time limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bunny Grenadier | Easy | 220,000 | Low (~75 per hit) | 9 minutes (whole dungeon) |
| Bunny Grenadier | Nightmare | 450,000 | High (~700 per hit) | 5 minutes (whole dungeon) |
| Egg Mech | Easy | 225,000 | Low (~75 per hit) | 9 minutes (whole dungeon) |
| Egg Mech | Nightmare | 500,000 | High (~700 per hit) | 5 minutes (whole dungeon) |
Every value there is single-source legacy data and stays Unconfirmed — no current build shows these numbers, and boss HP in this game scales with party size.
The preset kit you were handed
Balance came from the instance, not from your account:
| Set | Class | Physical | Spell | Health | Ability |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Easter Warrior Armor & Helmet | Warrior | 100 per piece | 5 per piece | 2,000 total | — |
| Easter Mage Armor & Helmet | Mage | 5 per piece | 100 per piece | 2,000 total | — |
| Egg Maul (weapon) | Warrior | 2,000 | 100 | — | — |
| Egg Staff (weapon) | Mage / Tank / Healer | 100 | 2,000 | — | — |
| Egg Bomb | Warrior | — | — | — | Wide area-of-effect throw |
| Carrot Barrage | Mage | — | — | — | Carrots rain in a wide line attack |
Both legacy notes attached to it are Unconfirmed: players reported a glitch where equipping part of Guardian Armor as a Warrior or Mage instantly restored health to 3,600, later fixed to preserve the intended difficulty; and the presets were temporary, so nothing used inside came back out.
What Egg Island dropped
Legacy write-ups agree on the shape of the rewards, not their odds. Samurai Egg — awarded for clearing on any difficulty during the event, tied to Egg Hunt 2020. Event-limited cosmetics — Nightmare clears carried a rare chance to drop them. No rate was ever published, so none is repeated here, and any percentage you see for this map is invented. If cosmetic payout is what you want, today's economy runs on gem crates — the cosmetics page covers crates and odds, and the drops page is the routine for logging what a dungeon really hands you.
What still carries over
- Mechanics beat stats when the game equalizes you — position before you attack, and kill ranged enemies first; the Mage priority maps onto every caster pack in later maps.
- Watch the floor, not just the boss — two of Bunny Grenadier's three abilities were dodgeable only by reading ground shadows.
- Time is a resource — a fixed clock with death penalties describes most timed runs; the solo guide covers keeping them alive without a party.
One live-game habit pairs with that: Hardcore Mode is reported to add +10% XP, +10% luck and an extra loot drop — a community-footage claim, so treat those numbers as reported. The progression page maps when it pays off.
Is Egg Island still available in Dungeon Quest Reborn?
Unconfirmed. Current footage names Egg Island in the live map list and describes it as a cosmetics-and-chance map, but whether it is rotating now, and whether it runs the Egg Hunt 2020 format, cannot be confirmed as of 2026-09-21. Check your own dungeon selector.
What level do you need for Egg Island?
Legacy documentation says none — there was no level requirement and every player was scaled to level 1 on entry with a temporary preset kit. Treat that as Unconfirmed for the current build; the live selector is the only authority.
Is Egg Island worth farming?
Not for gear. Current footage is blunt: the map is used purely for chance and cosmetics, and creators call it generally not worth doing because the rewards are cosmetic crates. Farm the leveling maps for power instead.
Which bosses were in Egg Island?
Two: the Bunny Grenadier mini-boss in Room 4, throwing frost, red and poison bombs, and the Egg Mech final boss in Room 7, piloted by a Chicken Brawler with line lasers, rock fall explosions and orb barrages — all documented from legacy write-ups, Unconfirmed for Reborn.
What did Egg Island drop?
Clearing on any difficulty awarded the Samurai Egg from Egg Hunt 2020, and Nightmare clears had a rare chance at event-limited cosmetics. No drop rates were published, so none are quoted here.
